Farhad's Film Series

Farhad's Film Series is a documentary/educational film screening program, six times a year during fall (September, October, November) and spring semester (February, March, April). The films are selected by UIW Libraries' media librarian, Farhad Moshiri, from the vast collection of UIW libraries' media collection of more than 100,000 films, both physical (DVD), and streaming online. From Spring 2014 to Spring 2020 the location of film screening was in room 221 of the Mabee library at the main campus. Since Fall 2020 the films are offered online in streaming format. The selection criteria is based on current issues and subjects that encourage discussion and debate to promote knowledge and understanding of most important issues in today's American society and the world in general.
