Pastoral Ministry Program

Students receiving a dual UIW/MACC BA or MA Pastoral Ministry degree are considered to be UIW students and are recognized as all other students with access to all owned and licensed digital resources, standard circulation privileges, and access to research and reference librarians while enrolled in this program.

Faculty engaged in teaching these dual-degreed students are considered adjunct UIW faculty and have access to the same support and privileges during the semester of instruction.

We encourage students and faculty in these programs to take advantage of the close proximity of the MACC and the Mabee Library.

Elizondo Library

In addition to the collections of the UIW Libraries, students and faculty have access to a specialized collection at the MACC.

The Rev. Virgilio Elizondo Library is managed by one library staff and has grown its collection since 2013 to include 17,910 book titles with another 4,603 issues of journals/periodicals that are available for in-house use and are relevant in support of the pastoral ministry degrees. Items in the collection are in English, Spanish, Latin, French, Portuguese, and Italian. Researchers can identify resources in the Elizondo Library through the online catalog. The space has several consultation and research tables.

This collection is also available to UIW students and researchers with a valid ID.
