Where do I find my textbooks?

The library does not have your textbooks. Contact your instructor for textbook information. Most are embedded in Canvas.

Who do I contact if I’m not finding what I need?

Contact your liaison librarian for the program or course. You may also contact the Reference Desk.

Can I visit Broadway campus?

• You are always welcome to visit Broadway campus.  Always bring your UIW ID.

What if I need a book that UIW doesn’t own?

• Most academic and public libraries in Texas participate in TexShare, which allows you to check out items from any library in the state with a TexShare card. Your Distance Learning Librarian can get you a TexShare card.
• It is common for college and university libraries to allow visitors to use resources in the building.
• If you are outside San Antonio, we will mail books from our collections to you.
