LibKey Nomad is a browser extension that enables instant access to articles from journals subscribed to by UIW Libraries and Open-Access sources without the need to start your search from the library website. It provides a direct link to the article's PDF or HTML version. This tool does not have "permission" to provide access to certain vendor content. Finding access to licensed and owned content may require an additional search in NestSearch on the libraries' main page. If access to the content is undiscoverable using the browser extension or in a NestSearch, LibKey Nomad will redirect you back to UIW Libraries and help you request an Interlibrary Loan.
To install LibKey Nomad, follow these steps:
LibKey Nomad may require you to have the most current version of the browser. If you have trouble updating your browser, contact the UIW Helpdesk at https://help.uiw.edu/support/home, click on "Report an issue" and submit a ticket.
The LibKey Nomad browser extension does not work for mobile devices or tablets.
