UIW Libraries subscribe to several databases devoted to news coverage. This guide provides instructions for two of those databases:

• NewsBank (includes more than 12,000 newspaper, blog, newswire, and video sources)
• Nexis Uni (includes more than 15,000 news, business, and legal sources)

Use the tabs above to learn about ways to use these databases.

These databases provide retrospective news coverage.  The historical New York Times begins coverage with September 18, 1851, and ends coverage with December 31, 2016.  See the research guide New York Times (Historical) Database for tips on using it and Historical Newspapers effectively.
