RefWorks

REFWORKS

We've created a guide to help you understand and use RefWorks, a bibliographic utility that aids students and faculty in creating citations and bibliographies.  RefWorks allows you to save your citations and abstracts in one place, manipulate them in a variety of ways, and use them while writing.

RefWorks has been purchased by ProQuest. The new platform offers unlimited space for you to save your articles, too.

Please note: RefWorks gives you a starting place for your citations but you are still responsible for proofreading your bibliographies.

RefWorks is free for you to use. Use your UIW email address to create your account (but you can use any password). Once they associate you with UIW, you can use your RefWorks account even after you leave the university. This allows you to continue to build on the research you have done here in future jobs and for future research and publication.
