You might find that another library in San Antonio has the item and go check it out there with a TexShare card. You can also order the item using InterLibrary Loan, though you don't have to specify a library in that case.
WorldCat is the world's largest library catalog, helping you find library materials online. It allows you to search the collections of libraries in your community and thousands more around the world.
The book catalog includes a browse feature. Follow these steps to access it.
When you find a title that interests you, click the title link for the book.
The complete record for the book appears. Scroll to the bottom of the screen.
The Virtual Browse feature allows you to see your book (in the middle of the section) and the books that lie on either side of it. Use the forward and back arrows to view additional items.
Use the Books + tab in the NestSearch box to identify books available in the library. For best results use the Advanced Search feature - it has a Resource Type limiter that allows you to select Print Books.
See the Identifying and Locating Books in the Library tutorial for instructions.
