The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) provides the standard language by which clinicians, researchers, and public health officials in the United States communicate about mental disorders. The DSM-5 is the most recent version of the manual published in 2013. Text revision updates were applied in 2022, so the new title is DSM-5-TR.
