2024 Fall UIW VOTES Events & Activities
The University's campus community will have the opportunity to participate in events and activities aimed at informing and preparing them for the upcoming election cycle.
The Ettling Center, Pi Sigma Alpha, Omega Delta Phi Fraternity and the UIW's Political Science Department will host a Mock Election at the the Westgate Circle near the Student Engagement Center on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in recognition of U.S. Constitution Day.
The Ettling Center will be hosting a Candidate Forum in late October, the date and time is being finalized, please visit this page to obtain more information.
On Election Day, Tuesday, November 5, 2024, the Ettling Center will be providing complimentary transportation to and from nearby voting polling sites with the aim of promoting civic engagement and accommodating the transportation needs of the diverse campus community. Since 2016, more than 250 faculty, students, and staff have taken advantage of this service, with over 75% identifying as first-time voters.
