Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of Composition I, students will be able to:

   Use the library's online catalog to identify books on a particular topic. 

•   Use the Credo Reference database to locate information.

◊   Use the library links within Credo Reference articles to locate materials available in the library.

•   Articulate the differences between popular and scholarly materials. 

•   Use MLA style effectively when citing and documenting resources used in assignments.     

•   Demonstrate an understanding of plagiarism.
